Inauguration party of the Vacheron Constantin Boutique in Paris
Yesterday with Jérôme, we had the chance to attend the inauguration party of the Vacheron Boutique in Paris.
This boutique is very important in Vacheron strategy and the spectacular event was a proof of this ambition.
Juan-Carlos Torres, Jean-Yves di Martino (Vacheron France), Christelle Konan (head of the Boutique) and her staff welcomed the guests at the Boutique for a classic cocktail. But it was only the beginning of the evening!
I propose to browse the pictures of the event I took with my phone (sorry):
The Boutique was especially decorated for the Event. And yes an iconic French car was parked in front of the Boutique: we are clearly in France!
The superb chandelier of the Boutique:

The famous Traction:
Cheers to the Boutique!
The second part of the event was taking place in a 500 sqm Hôtel Particulier, the Elephant Paname located a few steps from the Boutique. But the good surprise was the presence of these superb shuttles! Even if a walk would have been more logical due to the short distance, I couldn't resist to enjoy the pleasure to have my own chauffeur... during 30 seconds!
Chabadabada, my Mustang is ready:
We were entering the Elephant Paname:
The whole Hôtel Particulier was decorated with Vacheron Constantin elements:
The opening speech of Juan-Carlos Torres and Jean-Yves di Martino. Vacheron Constantin decision to open a boutique in Paris required several years of reflection but only a prestigious location could be selected. With such address, 2 rue de la Paris, Vacheron Constantin couldn't expect better setting!
The dancers from the Compagnie Julien Lestel started the show. Music was from Philip Glass which was good news for me: I'm a fan of Contemporary Music! It was a very sensual and dynamic dance and of course, a nod to the new Métiers d'Art - Hommage à l'Art de la Danse.
Then, we went upstairs to reach the dining room! What a beautiful scenery, almost enchanting!
I found my seat!
Did you notice the suspended Maltese crosses and movement parts?
I want this table mat!
Enrico Bernardo, who was elected as the best sommelier in the world, explained to the guests the choice of the wines which accompanied the different courses:
Tartare de Saint-Jacques façon "Bloody Mary" with a glass of Riesling:
Bar de ligne rôti, spaghetti de courgettes with a glass of Puligny-Montrachet:
Carré de veau, purée de pommes de terre, morilles et asperges vertes with a glass of Volnay Violot-Guillemard:
And a selection of cheeses with a glass of Pessac Léognan (thanks Vacheron for this choice, Pessac is my hometown!):
After the cheeses, we went to the second floor to enjoy a wide range of desserts:
But the party was not over! We had the chance to enjoy a last surprise!
Nathalie Manfrino, a young French soprano (Maciej Pikulski at the piano) sang various italian arias from Puccini, Catalani, Bellini, Verdi and Cilea:
I couln't leave the party without a last picture of one of the Métiers d'Art - Hommage à l'Art de la Danse. I hope to be able to shoot them with my camera:
All the guests were delighted by this event which was perfectly organized and full of surprises. The atmosphere of the evening gathered several artistic universes: dance, music, singing without forgetting obviously watchmaking! It was a perfect way to remind us that Vacheron is maybe the brand which knows the best how to combine artistic techniques with horological contents.
I would like to thank a lot the Vacheron Constantin Team for this great event and of course, I wish the best for the new Boutique!
