Vacheron Constantin

I was able to attend the launch

last night of this final set of Les Masques at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY. It was my first time seeing any of these watches in person and I am very impressed by the work that goes into them. These are fascinating watches, and the effect of the masks floating on the dial is mesmerizing. The artisans who create the masks for the watches with such fidelity to the originals deserve congratulations. It is a shame that most people will never get the chance to see one of these watches in person, much less all twelve of them, even if they don't like the concept.

Collectors from all over the world were in attendance. Cocktails, dinner, and a short musical/dance program made for a wonderfully entertaining evening. Many thanks to Vacheron Constantin for inviting me to this event.
