I think the 447856 movement # dates it to the 1940s.
The 2871c3 looks unusual to me for a case number because of the letter "c", I usually expect to see a six-digit number where all the digits are numbers. I know there are exceptions to this rule, but am not familiar with them. If I just look at the first four digits of the case number, i.e. 2871, the case looks like it is from the 1950s.
It would not be unusual for a vintage VC to have a movement originally made in the 40s to be cased in the 50s. In such cases, the watch would be considered from the 1950s because that was when the watch was finally assembled and became a complete watch, available for sale.
If you can provide pictures of the movement and inside of the case back, more information may be able to be obtained.
Nice watch, the case looks like rose gold? Enjoy it and welcome to VC ownership!
