Vacheron Constantin

I have to say that I was rather blown away by the new Overseas collection.  I liked the previous design but I think the new case and dial are a huge leap forward.  The blue dial is absolutely stunning in person!  I had thought that the three-hander was going to wear too small on my 7" flat wrist but it fit perfectly.  The chronograph is quite a bit beefier but is very comfortable on the wrist.  I often struggle to get a good fit with bracelets that lack a micro-adjust but these fit me like a glove right out of the box.  The bracelets are beautifully made and the quick strap change system is ridiculously easy to use.  

I had really gone in to see the new stainless steel Quai de L'ile and it didn't disappoint.  I tried on both the white and black dials and I have to say I much preferred the black dial.  It actually appeared to be more of an anthracite than truly black (sometimes even looking dark brown in certain lighting conditions) with a nice contrast with the deep black date ring.  The case and dial of this watch are very unique and the whole package feels both classic and modern at the same time.  I think VC is going to sell a lot of these pieces, especially given the price point.
