That's a timepiece to have in mind. We received it three weeks ago and I reconfirmed the feelings about it. I saw it at the SIHH and it was one of my fav watches from Vacheron together with the Ti Overseas and the Pt Bi-Retro.
It looks fantastic on the wrist and exudes elegance and quality from every angle.

.... nowadays is very hard to get, at least in Europe. A lot of waiting is involved. My AD is getting the next one in the beginning of 2011. What is going on? 1921 is getting famous, I fear. A story like yours does not help
