The blue looks darker though and less shiny.

The traditionnelle is fantastic already and the blue dial and WG combo is stunning!

And I agree that the 82172 is a great watch whatever the variant.

My favorites still the excellence platine and the yellow/guilloche versions.

But excellence platine is very attractive too. And the guilloche dial is really beautiful, no doubt about that.
