I have the opportunity to purchase a mint LE Chonometre Royal 1907 (the one with the red 12). It is a beautiful watch...love the enamel dial...but I am not that familiar with this model in particular, and more generally the VC brand, as I've primarily own... 

I have not heard any complaints about the reliability of VC's in house movements which have now been in production for over four years, so I don't think you'll have any troubles with the performance of your watch. And this goes both for performance and du...

And if I don't own it already this is only because I know that there is a platinum version of the Chronometre Royal, which is just ...Sublime. The only thing is that, if I remember well, there is no red 12 on this special version, but it is a beautifully ... 

I think the current CR is the most legit version since the 60's - a return to the values of the Chronometre Royal wristwatch lineage of impeccable style and superb mechanics....

Thanks everyone for the information and educated opinions. I just picked up the watch. It is just beautiful and the dial is, what can I say, it is what it is, awesome. It's flawless. I've owned other enamel dial watches including some beautiful LE models,...

Anniversary Langematik, Breguet 1775 and the LE version of CR 1907, all 3 are awesome watches but I must say the dials of all these 3 watches are not 100% smooth and this is still the case for even more expensive watches like the Patek 5078 and the Richar...
