UN118 and Torpilleur

Aug 10, 2020,03:38 AM

Dear all,

I like the Torpilleur. I also like, in principle, the UN-118 caliber will a silicon spring (mandatory with magnetic field everywhere) and a lubrification-free escapement. I have, however, heard not very good rumors about its reliability. To me this is important for a sport watch. It might very well be wrong. Any feedback ?
Thanks a lot.

Lubrication free escapement, is that possible? If there are worries, than a Omega Co-Axial movement is a movement which can take away the fear. Also 5 years warranty Omega gives to customers. But i think UN is superior too. They were the first who introdu...

I wear a Torpilleur model with 118 caliber since 2 years. Accuracy is perfect and same with the quality of the all components. That’s a perfect watch for my personal opinion
