Ulysse Nardin Marine Tourbillon versus Marine Torpilleur Tourbillon.

Steel case, 42 mm for the Marine Torpilleur Tourbillon ( 2022 ) versus 43 mm for the Marine Tourbillon ( 2016 ), both having enamel dial.

Marine Tourbillon:

Marine Torpilleur Tourbillon:

I prefer the Marine Torpilleur Tourbillon for two reasons: The slightly smaller case and the lugs. And the lack of luminous material on the hands.

Now, I would have preferred blued hands on the Marine Torpilleur Tourbillon, to match with the indices and to provide a better legibility.

You?

Best,

Nicolas

Not only the fair price, it is a good quality watch with a enamel dial. I wear not always the same watch, and i do not change straps all the time. Albeit when a watch become my favorite, it wil wear faster. This due the special strap attach system. I foun...

I would go with the second option.

I had the chronometer version of the first one : especially the integrated lug design was not very comfortable and constantly fighting my wrist.

1 for the Torpilleur.

I would go for the Torpilleur. The blue details are more marine and the colors of the tourbillon are ultra cool. Also, the length of the minutes hand is better.

On the contrary, I prefer the crown guard of the other model. About the lugs, sincerely I can’t make up my mind.

2 for the Torpilleur.

From the pics I like the „classic“ Marine Tourbillon

with the black numerals more. Also the red indices on the PR indicator are - for me - more interesting (and less boring) than the „plain“ blue version. And the readability of hands and dial seem to be better.

HA! A WPS edition, maybe?

I prefer the Marine Tourbillon if I had to choose. It has a more

classical look and the dial is more contrasting. Moreover if I am not mistaken its price was more accessible than the Torpilleur around 50% more expensive.

Neither, since both dials are ..

"ruined" by the tourbillion.

I see your point, mon ami.

Not very popular...

But true for me.

NT

A bit late to the conversation, but I would choose neither because...

...I would consider the Marine Torpilleur because of the blue indices on enamel. I have the Quantieme Annuel, and the dial is lovely as the blue "print" is softer than the bold black on white of the Marine Tourbillon. Problem I have with the Torpilleur is...
