Ulysse Nardin Chronograph Calendar.

My guess is that it could well be from the 50's or 60's, with its yellow gold case, its triple date and its chronograph. A pure marvel of classicism I had the pleasure to see some 3 years ago.

It is such a beauty that I didn't forget it. I would have loved to see it in white metal... Even if gold is not bad looking at all for such a classic watch.

Best,

Nicolas

I would certainly not mind having it on my wrist in any metal actually. And its condition is just amazing, it looks like NOS. Thanks for sharing Nico

The case is a screwback if i'm not mistaken so it would be post 1956, maybe late 1950's, early 1960's. The movement is a modified Valjoux 72C with the removal of the hour register at 6 o'clock. Rare, as this movement would normally have been adapted for t...

Congrats on the screw-in case back. Here is a picture.

And another one of the movement, which is the Valjoux 72C, indeed: I've never seen this version with the moonphase and the Valjoux 88. Do you have a photo? Thanks for your very interesting comments and informations, polan. And welcome back here! Best, Nic...
