To be honest Bill...

... I have no real need or desire for a fancy watch box or barometer, as they tend to only occupy a very dark closet for all eternity in my case. If given the choice, I would have taken a pass on the above, and undoubtedly saved a substantial amount as you are very well aware.

With that said, I really don't think we have a lot to complain about either. The additional box and barometer is simply spectacular in its own right, as it really punctuates the very special nature of owning a 160, and more importantly, the very special feeling I get every time I proudly strap it on.

I had the chance to try on the Anniversary 160 at my AD last week for the first time and loved it. With hundreds of watches on display for one to choose from there, my eyes instinctively fell for this pieces complete and utter elegance. Congratulations to you Bill for owning such a magnificent U.N.

A superb timepiece. I really like the thickness... substantial, but not thicker than required. Extremely legible watch.

Thanks Michael..

It took all but 30 seconds to decide whether or not to buy this piece once I saw it, which is not a good thing to be honest. With that said, there is something eternal about this piece that cannot be captured on film. Thanks for the very kind words, I wil...

Great piece to keep.....

Hi Dan, i own the Anniversary 160 in rose gold. Mine also came with the barometer, in what must be some kind of record for over-the-top packaging. Not that I'm complaining! Congratulations on your Marine 160, a terrific piece. best, bill

Your analysis is spot on regarding the extraordinary amount of grace, detail, and design U.N. has ensconced the 160 with. Of all the timepieces I have ever purchased over the years, this pieces box set is by far and wide the most exceptionally crafted one...

Let me ask you a question though, Dan. If you could have purchased the same watch for a couple of thousand less, by foregoing the barometer and fancy boxes, would you? I've wondered a bit about that myself. I have to say that I love the packaging. It was ...
