A Tourbillon or Carousel can have any frequency of cycle. The majority do have 60 seconds and next most common is 30 seconds. What defines the difference between the T and C mechanisms is that a Carousel has only one energy source. A Tourbillion has 2 energy sources and is therefore more susceptible to adjustment hacking. A Carousel is more "robust. The UN Freak series have both Carousel and tourbillion mechanisms. The Diavolo being one. Most are 1 hour Carousels.
My opening argument is that many deride the Freak X because many consider (incorrectly) winding mechanism defines somehow what the Freak is. (then what is the Freak S and the Freak Vision which are both automatics like the X, but have the Grinder to recharge). The 7 day spring mech was because the original Freak was such a huge and heavy movement to turn. It also had a central pin through the glass to help turn the baguette movement. Later models, the Freak became a flying Baguette movement. Therefore ALL Freak models should be defined in my opinion as a whole rotating dial (hour hand/disc) with a baguette mechanism (differential) rotating once an hour as a minute hand.
