I had believed the blue case would be either ceramic or rubber-coated. Both technologies are proven and reliable, while much less prone to marks and scratches than even DLC. So I was astronished and somewhat disappointed to read the finish is PVD on steel. Well, PVD is but the physical process, the scratch resistance depends on the physical attributes of the material that is deposited on the steel. DLC is quite solid, titanium nitride as well. So it would be great to hear what UN is using on the cases of this Diver as well as the new black variant of the no-date Torpilleur.
