the mainspring axis, hands axis and balance wheel axis are not in line.
However, the overall unsymetrical look is coherent.
It is a top tier piece in any colection!

Yes. I am sure they attempted it a la GPs Thrree Nridges and some independents.
It is also a horological achievement to have these three axis in a line.
