How to spot a fake Maxi Marine Diver.
Hello,
I just purchased a Maxi Marine Diver from a watch dealer in eBay. He has a really good reputation based on reviews and has been selling expensive watches for quite some time. He purchased the Maxi Marine Diver from an Authorized Dealer in California. I received everything: box, authenticity card, cosc certificate, manuals, and etc. The watch and all the included stuff looks very authentic.
Just out of curiosity, what do I have to look out for to spot a fake?

To me, no problem at all.
Your MMD looks authentic. As for the marker at 12, it doesn't hurt me at all. Enjoy! Best, Nicolas

Rotor sound?
By the way, I tried shaking the watch and I hear the rotor making a sound. Somewhat like a subtle grinding noise. The Rolex I used to own does not make any noise at all when I shake it. Is this normal?

I went to Torneau to do a side by side comparison with the watch they had on display. I tried shaking it and it also made the same subtle grinding sound. I guess this is truly authentic and my worries are over?
