... your Breguet movement is - or is based on - the JLC 889/2 movement, which is considered a very fine, but also a bit delicate movement. According to experts, it is easily knocked out of adjustment by bumps, but I have not read about real damages, though.

The ETA 2892A2 that is used as a base of many UN watches, including the Marine Chronograph and Diver, is a more solid movement, even if it, too, has the one or other potentially weak spot, mainly in the gear train of the automatic winding. The big advantage of the ETA over the JLC is its wide distribution and the global availability of spare parts. The JLC movement was used by fewer brands.
