Agreed, I own a Ulysse Nardin MG, so I am kind of biased. I like the Marine 1846 wristwatch from the early 2000's with 36mm diameter, looks great on the wrist, despite the date window, which, as mentioned, should not be there

I've always enjoyed the design and visual clarity of UN's deck chronometer design.
My only example is the Marine 1846 from ca. 1997 or so.
