Ulysse Nardin

2nd UN

 

After much debate, I finally settled on the Executive Dual Time as my 2nd UN. Went with the leather strap as I think it dresses it up a bit more, but loved the look of the rubber strap also (just might end up getting one to swap out from time to time).

It's a bit larger than what I normally wear, but with the beveled ceramic bezel, it tapers nicely onto the wrist. Very comfortable to wear and great visibility for my failing eyes.

I know there's some controversy over whether this watch truly represents (and fits within) the UN line, and I can understand that viewpoint. But somehow, as I was considering various models, I kept being drawn back to this model--maybe because it's different. Now that I have it, I absolutely love it. Pictures do not do it justice, but here are a few:

I really admire UN's maverick spirit, and unique designs. Your new watch is a great example. Its bold design may not be for everyone, but that's the charm of this piece, right? You wrote that this is your second UN. What was your first? Cheers, Daos

The bezel is black ceramic--another feature that adds to the distinctiveness of this model.

In my eyes, this watch is fully justified to represent UN ....
