Not sure you've got the right movement
When I registered my Breguet Marine 3400, they told me it was a " Calibre
549", which I think is a JLC movement.
Is it the same as the 2892 you mention?

UN Maxi Marine more rugged than Breguet Marine?
Hello Folks, I own the most beautiful Breguet Marine, but it spends most of its life in the shop. I am thinking of selling it and buying a UN Maxi Marine. Any idea on whether the UN is a more rugged, durable and reliable watch? Thanks, BHM

i do believe that you have been a little unlucky with you Breguet, i have had a MMD and it is a very rugged and robust watch, i wear a marine perpetual and that too is fine so i can say that my UNs have performed superbly i strongly recommend you look at ...

Definitely not ....
... your Breguet movement is - or is based on - the JLC 889/2 movement, which is considered a very fine, but also a bit delicate movement. According to experts, it is easily knocked out of adjustment by bumps, but I have not read about real damages, thoug...
