Nice Watch

Nice Watch with the blue Max colour ๐Ÿ˜Ž we started the production around year 2000. I remember when I worked on this pattern for the dial, big challenge you can believe me.
The rubber strap conception design done by Remondo Brenni was presented at the press people in 1999 during Basel fair. This is now an iconic sign of Ulysse Nardin.
40mm was already a big size because in 1998 the Ulysse Nardin Watches was 27mm for Ladyโ€™watch, 33mm for Boy and 37mm for man... we started 38.5mm for perpetual calendar. The biggest model was the Tellurium with 43mm...
You have got one iconic Ulysse Nardin watch congratulations.

A decent and practical size from 2003, with a beautiful blue before blue became the trend in recent years. Very often my go to watch for sports and holidays when I don't need to worry about hiking, swimming and even the occasional fix it jobs. Comfortable...

Definitely!

It is really nice to hear from you, and it is not often I get to hear from the person who was directly involved in the creation of my cherished timepieces. The details you've shared has just increased my appreciation for this one, not that I've appreciate...

Interesting post...

And exciting to hear from someone who worked for UN. I have acquired quite a few UNโ€™s over time. I do feel the watches a decade and older were somehow more interesting. ...

Lot of emotion

Dear Dave, you can not imagine the emotion I have to look at your collection. each model has been worked closely with Rolf, each detail has been the subject of long discussion and sometimes fighting, but I am proud with the final the result. All these mod...

I have fond memories of acquisition of these pieces and others over the years.

Blast from the Past

Richad N, Thanks for showing the old Ulysse Nardin that older PuristS remember and lived through. At that time, the Blue Max colour was unique and the dotty pattern on dial and rubber strap was unusual. My first gold watch upon moving to Singapore was a U...

My pleasure, MTF

These โ€œolderโ€ watches have created their own identity, and in many ways new watches seem to struggle doing. All the different re editions confirm that in some ways, I guess. Standing the test of time is not something I see many current collection models d...

I probably will

Lucas is still in activities for UN and this is very important for UN stability. All of the developpement were and are under his analysis. Of course the technical staff as Loic Pellaton and Stephane Von Gunthen are the heart of the mouvement dev. Do not f...
