Android Device Manager is live! 2 days ago I got the update but it didn't do anything as the app was inactive. In Settings go to Security and Device Administrators : Android Device Manager is being pushed to everyone with AndroidOS 2.2+ so check if you go...

Sometimes updates are silently updated and you never know it's there! Did you active it? -MW
They are supposed to add more options/functions rolling out in the near future...
Will update when these features become available. Don't forget to do a periodic Nandroid backup just in case you accidentally wipe your device. -MW
