The above are my favorite lyrics of all time. For me, the best songs are either poetry or stories. U2 have some very poetic lyrics.

I'm the type of person who always listens to the lyrics of a song. I'm not afraid to admit that I will sometimes get choked up singing along to a song in the car or at home because I'm so moved by the lyrics.
