Today the men were mostly working and the women had taken over the sidewalks and were getting their steps in.
Sunday was Day at the Docks, or Start of the Season but we were busy with other things so missed the annual party.
We did see some of the aftermath today, as many yachts were still decked out with bungees and banners and such.
No marlin or tuna were hung up for us to admire.
We were shocked by the prices at the Brigantine. Boy they have gone up. Good thing I can cook and local fish is easy to find.

Pardon the interruption — the weekend’s Fish Chowder featuring swordfish & cod, bay shrimp, fennel, peas, Yukon gold potatoes and so on.
Back to our hike:

I quickly stepped back as they showed no sign of slowing their pace...

Here comes another set of walkers

A couple tourists in the most terrifying vehicle I can imagine driving in city traffic.

Perhaps this could be an alternative, though it’s worrying for other reasons.

That's more like it, though not for the average tourist in town for a few days.

Trucks rumble by as a solitary male walker ambles past.

An early Bronco, slowly rusting away.

Painted walls and electrical boxes now consumed our attention.

These are at the Portuguese Hall.

My Bee & Hummingbird sensors went on alert at this cluster of Pride of Madeira flowers.

It’sa beauty!

Up close for a few shots, then he zoomed away.

The bees don't notice us or the hummer.

Nice job Linda Churchill, on these electrical boxes.

AHA, a lovely Porsche to end our walk.

Nice, eh? I put the camera in the case, then pull it right out again.

Can’t miss this one
Can we? And I realize it’s time for the wrist photo - today a Grand Seiko SBGX039. GS’s “Milgauss” is SS 39mm 9F movement, magnetic shielding, bracelet. I bought this in August 2005.
Thanks for coming along on our gray day walk.
