Update prior to the New Year weekend...
As the leaders pass Nemo Point and head toward a weekend at Cape Horn I heard in an update that it's so remote in that part of the world that the closest individuals are on the International Space Station... it's a tight packed group and anyone could take the race over the remaining 8,700nm.

I was gutted when Alex ceased racing. Sad to see Simon's boat take on water.
So now I'm following the ladies. Isabelle is racing competitively. Sam has an old boat and is toughing it out. Clarisse...wow, never seem somebody so upbeat in every single video dispatch. What a race. So much respect for all the competitors.
