Next time you have an open fire in winter try this recipe. When I was a kid we used to do it in the campfire, but we more often do it in the lounge fireplace. Smear whole potatoes in butter (or bacon grease for extra flavor) and wrap them in a double laye...  

Sounds like the perfect recipe for the summer time campfire! We used to do something similar when we did our overnight hiking except we did a beef patty and some veggies. Do you have a fire pit in your backyard or was this on a trip? -MW
