Incredible you found the place you were looking for! When we where in Tokyo, it was so hard to find, even given the address the taxi cab drivers didn't know exactly where to go. You are brave for trying chicken sashimi, that's a bit extreme for me so than... 

The Chicken is so fresh, tender and had such a nice taste, the Sashimi was fantastic, highly recommend it. We found the place thanks to the generosity and open heartedness of the locals, that's been the biggest revelation of this trip, how friendly and he... 

Did you try any of those small pub like yakatori restaurants under the train/bridges? We did one and it was really good. -MW

It was my first time and I loved it, the meat was so soft and succulent, just right. The place is called Sumiyakiya () It was next to the Roppongi Area under the overpass/bridge This Vegetable Pancake was awesome The meat looked amazing The Marbling ...  

Nothing beats the flavor when you use a grill with charcoal, looks great! -MW

Wow, that is really cool that you got to try this yakitori restaurant. I remember seeing the Bourdain episode so that is awesome to find the HQ. And what a nice gesture that they were able to take you to the Toriki HQ to have the full experience. And havi... 

The only thing missing from the experience was the old Purists crew, would have increased the enjoyment two fold for sure! :-) S

That Mario guy is fantastic. How I covet one of those karts. Would make city driving a breeze, especially were it to come with unlimited red turtle shell functionality. Really enjoyed both of your recent contributions, so thank you.

More is on the way with your kind permission :-) and I second you on the kart, imagine if we all used karts instead of cars, how much fun would that be :-) S
