South Bay / Animal Farm, Part 1
We walked in Imperial Beach, just north of the border, thinking we would have sunshine. We didn’t; the skies were gray but in compensation, creatures of all sorts were all around us.
Here are those I was able to record on camera.
I saw 5-6 hummingbirds but this one was the best at posing for the camera.
The rabbit was both shy and curious — I could tell he wanted to run but also wanted to see what we were doing...
So in the end, we just stood and looked at each other, until I got a nice photo and nodded, whereupon we both went our separate ways.
Obligatory seagull pose. Notice their feet have no arches. All gulls seem to be flat-footed.
We alternated Between dirt paths and the bikeway.
