Those are exquisite pens! Highly detailed. Those cases are a delight. I like how they are cylindrical. I believe montblanc leather goods are made in Italy still? Likely not to the same level, or at much higher prices.

I remember when this silver pen was introduced. I was utterly smitten with it but could not afford it -- was it $1,100 originally? For me it represents not only beauty but an example of how something (a pen, watch, car, etc.) can be striking and yet still... 

Christe and Hemingway are great designs for sure. I like them both.

Don't really know the original price of Medici, as I bought mine around two decades later after its initial "public offering" ;-) This year 2022 is its 30 anniversary.
