Here is the resort I stayed which served as a launching pad for my dives. It was a breath of fresh air since I am so used to "budget dives" in Tioman which get me all tired and frustrated. This place allowed me to unwind and appreciate "god's glory" in it's full splendour.
The staff were particularly hospitable, in particular, the Reception Manager, Ruth, whom helped me from getting paper bags to store toasted bread to feed the marine fishes, to silly things, such as finding me a cigarette ashtray so I could smoke at a spot with a great view.
The rooms were huge, and I was told that it was built to be like Royal Malay Palaces of the past. My villa faced the sea, and I spent most of the time either reading a good book on the hammock nearby, or smoking a good cigarette at the porch of the villa, facing the sea.
Will I return again?
Definitely, and I need to discover the other dive spots on the island I didn't have time to enjoy, such as the "Moonraker" and the shipwrecks.
