Point being, anyone with any degree of life experience has something they could say creatively.... I always detested the notion that, for those who seek to become paid (i.e. 'professional') actors, one has to have formal acting experience. Total BS propagated mostly by talent agencies, the best film directors (Mann, O'Russell etc.), in my opinion, frequently use random people who have some genuine connection to the events they are portraying, and they end up doing better work than 99% of trained actors ever could....

Reminds me of the highway ramp used in Lalaland. I tried two or three times to watch the entire movie but have been unable to go past the first 10-15mins.
From what I remember, I have seen it on DVD....
But it was frankly so forgettable to me that besides some pretty choreography I literally don't recollect a single thing about the film.... Fluff without substance, and musically rather uninspired....
I actually liked the movie (didn't love it) but I thought the freeway song on the overpass was such a waste.
They had the location, the setup and all they could come up with was a crappy song, that could/should have been a classic LA-ish song. Such a waste and missed opportunity. Damn it.....hire some decent writers. The movie was an interesting attempt at the s...
