My little "museum" of stuff I grew up with .... some in my possession since buying it, some re-purchased through different sources.
"Good old times".
Just a few explanations:
The "TPS-L2" is the famous Sony Walkman, BEFORE Sony had invented and trademarked the name "Walkman". It was still called "Soundabout". And this one has - believe me - a VERY low serial number. The Sennheiser HD 414 was part of my body during my teenager times. Day and night. And the calculators: big time comptetitive advantage back then in school. The TI-2500 being the first commercial hand-held calculator in the world. Still works perfectly and I still use it regularly. All the stuff in here is fully workable and in state of the art condition. And the little gnomes are original Sennheiser figures.

This is really a great concept. Not something I’ve ever seen or even thought of.
Although I did buy a piece of art several years ago which represents an important consumer item of my teenage years. But it’s one piece. I like how you have several pieces and a dedicated space.
Okay, it‘s impossible to top this but
I have my old Calculator from school on my desk and it is still in use 🤓 ...

Great post but the scary part is that I recognized each and every item instantaneously.
Not just numbers
Because as they increase live and body are slowly changing as well (for ordinary people of course, you and me are indestructible haha)
