Mapperton House doesn't come to mind
Despite having been to Dorset a fair number of times in the past 25 years... I have no idea where this place is located, A quick scan of the map shows it's in the middle of No Where.
Between North Poorton and Melplash... I check the Internet:
Mapperton is a hamlet and civil parish in Dorset, England, 3 miles south-east of Beaminster. Dorset County Council estimated that the population of the parish was 60 in 2013.
As I said, the middle of nowhere.

Our route was a little hairy as we took the faster more direct country lanes after leaving the main road at Melplash.
