It goes well!

At least u bothered to change into pyjamas. The concept of pyjamas seems lost through erosion of time; and replaced by other options.
I wear pyjamas too. They make for better sleep hygiene and as a testament to self-love.

The peacocks of Pitti Uomo

Many here on this community are avid collector of fine watches, and the Venn diagram almost always extend to good manners and good dressing (suits, ties, bow ties, umbrellas, cufflinks, shoes and the formidable arsenal of menswear). Circa 2005, there was ...

British tailoring style coming soon
By: Cookies : July 24th, 2020-18:56
In a few weeks, I will formulate an article inspired by Saville Row, perhaps a “virtual walk” through the street about the houses and their signature style. I like the looser fit of the British suits, and the rakishness of the Italians.
So, pick your poison ;)

British sensibilities or Italian Rakishness. Shoes: Goodyear welt or Blake Stitching?=D
I generally like these styles a lot -- not necessarily what I choose for myself (e.g., I *always* wear a jacket when I leave the house and never a tie), but very sharp, great looking!

I'm actually sure it's common for members of this site, who are interested in horology at very high levels, to also enjoy other fine things in life. It can be quality dressing, or cars, food, travel, etc. (we even have dedicated forums to excellence in so...
Salute to that

Always a sport jacket, that itself is a sartorial habit that 70% of modern man somehow forgot to do/replaced with a hoodie.
Cheer to you buddy

I love fine threads but care less how it’s put together now

Very interesting topic you have here and certainly it resonates with me. I’m embarrassed to say how many Kiton suits and sports jackets I have in the closets, but since March 11th I’ve worn a suit twice. I’ve been wearing a lot of sweatpants and earphones...
I like your expression

The switch to a polo-t with Berluti slip-ons is itsef a sartorially great. When I was 20, I used to chat with an old Hedge Fund manager “Robbie” who always had a spare set of driving shoes. Shoes were important to him. I cannot deny he was so cool at 60+ ...
I hate to dress up. In fact I forgot how to tie a tie or bowtie.

The only time I wear a suit is for maybe the 4 galas I’m expected to attend and donate to every year. And every year it takes a good 10 tries before muscle memory kicks in to finish the tie. I mainly wear workout clothes as I find it comfortable and easy....
You are similar to the person I wrote about
By: Cookies : July 24th, 2020-19:11
The elderly hedge fund manager Robbie, who drove a similar car (his was a 911 turbo) and always had a spare set of Todds or Prada driving shoe in his car.
Dress classy

No taste with cloth
By: Weems@8 : July 24th, 2020-13:59
I have totally no taste with cloth. Admit, my taste is developing with cloth i chose fitting my watches. I bought a light blue trousers and with a clean white t-shirt it looks perfect in combination with my Baume and Mercier Classima. Last i had a short t...
Difficult choice
