as the title says this is kinda of a silly dilemma with no real consequences but here it is. There is a PCA autocross on sunday. My PCA region does an autocross once a month and rewards points at each autocross to crown a Champion at the end of the season... 

If you drive the GTR this weekend and don't score any points, can you still statistically win the overall autocross if you win the last 10 races? I would also point out that a lot of the fun is simply in competing. Best regards, George

because I would assume he will win the S4 class again which would put him one 27 points with ten races to go. The difference between first and second place is 3 points per event. So the math does allow for a very close points race that can still be won by... 

If it is only going to happen once, go for the burn. I say take the risk. It heightens the stakes for sure. Best regards, George

I think your idea is great. I wish my personality allowed me to do so. I normally go in thinking I'm just going to enjoy the ride and not worry about my times but once I pass the timing lights a different switch is flipped in my brain. I guess a little ba... 

It's good to see that you still have the fire to be competitive. Keith Code? Cool. Still have his Twist of the Wrist books in the Library, also a bunch of us took a weekend course many years ago. Great class and the instructors were really good. Whatever ...
