I think we have a mix up in language here
I don't know where you are located but here in England UK suspenders are what women wear to hold up their stockings which makes this thread seem quite strange.

My wife just texted me some pictures of suspenders at an estate sale, all were really cool, the collectors type with great patterns on them I told her no thanks even though I liked them all. I probably have 30 pair and used to wear them a lot. Just wonder...

I also used to have 30+ tie bars and pins, but I gave them all away last year to a dapper young man at our church Cazalea

Your trousers won’t fall down. But in America we say “pants” not trousers, which doesn’t have quite the same meaning in U.K. Likewise probably shouldn’t say “Fanny pack” in 🇬🇧
