Wasn’t sure if that was temporary or for a specific (limited) purpose. I sometimes switch out to the flat pedals on my mountain bike, but mostly I’m too lazy to do so even when it would be better on the flat pedals.
But are you sure a mimosa mid ride is wise??? 😂 Or perhaps the caffeine cancels it out. What are your thoughts on having some more rubber between you and road? J
Totally different ride than my other Wilier — the rolling resistance with the wider tires is very noticeable, but I am okay with that. The wheelbase is considerably longer, the handlebars have a different feel, and the overall sense of comfort, stability,...
And the 1x drivetrain? I find it can been a little lacking for me on the real faster flats but I don’t have much of that where I am. I am also 99% on gravel with mine and so need the wider tires. Here’s to a good summer of new roads !
I have been riding in a narrow range of gears under those conditions. Takes a little getting used to, but I think it will serve my riding style well. I also made the move to flat pedals which takes getting used to!
