I thought this restaurant may be a bit touristy as it is listed in all the Travel Guides, but it was recommended to me by a local (thanks Brigitte!) and I was pleased I tried it. Le Relais de lEntrecote is an institution and the recipe hasnt changed...

How was the steak? Sometimes the sauce overwhelms the flavor of beef while other times it really adds to the overall taste of the dish. Only thing I didn't like about eating beef in Switzerland is that they usually serve a more leaner cut. I prefer the go... 

... although the entrecôte at Lipp was slightly more refined. But the French fries were great and the whole meal fun and worth the wait in line. Andrew
