I wasn't planning to get vaccinated so early because I can work remotely, but I jumped at the chance when work offered/encouraged it. No side effects (Pfizer) other than a sore arm after the first dose and a sorer arm after the second dose in the same arm. The only thing I'd do differently is get the second shot in the other arm, just in case that might reduce the soreness after Round 2. Unclear if it would, and I had actually researched that beforehand (more out of curiosity) but couldn't find any conclusive answer.
One thing I'd advise in the US is to bring ALL personal paperwork with you even if you already inputted everything online -- insurance card, prescription card, driver license, etc. It's the Wild West (at least in my state) when it comes to paperwork and the extent to which different sites have their act together, etc.
I took this pic while waiting the requisite 15 minutes in my friend's car in the drugstore parking lot right after the first dose. I was looking for an excuse to post it.
Good luck again!
