Among the most striking things I saw with the 5098P on my wrist during the week I spent in Florence was the extraordinary exhibition, which seems to be unprecedented by its span, devoted to one of my long-time favorite painters (and not only Renaissance painters): Fra Angelico (1395-1455).
One of the most beautiful works on display at the Palazzo Strozzi was the Altarpiece of the Compagnia di San Francesco in Santa Croce, called the Franciscan Triptych with its magnificent Madonna at the center (1428-1429, tempera and gold on panel).

As we left and wandered around, night was falling on the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio.
