Andy Warhol Watches
I just saw on another site that Andy Warhol had over 300 watches in his apartment when he died in
1987, from the likes of Rolex, Cartier, Piaget and Patek Phillippe.
One of his Patek's will be auctioned by Christie's this June.
Pre auction estimate is $200,000-$400,000, I am guessing it
will bring considerably more.
Dust off your auction paddles and get in line.

He had a thing for unusual designs and the vast majority were quite inexpensive. His Cartier tank did not ever run, he was completely uninterested in it’s ability to tell the time 😂
Shhhhh, PP desperatly needs to PR the auction results. How great and revolutionary he was, his mastery of pop culture... ride those coatails hard boy.
Who cares if the watch works. He had it, that's all that matters.
I read that Steve McQueen gave Andy Warhol his Rolex right off his wrist, because he was so taken with his portrait that Warhol painted.....,
Then of course Warhol later sold the watch to Joanne Woodward.......and the rest is history. There that should create a bit of buzz.
