A Beautiful Day, Part 2

Continuing our walk at the Wilderness Garden (which we visit about once a year), my focusing skills swung from chasing squirrels and rabbits to more stationary prey:

Luckily the beautiful flowers were happy to be photographed.

This plant absolutely broadcast sweetness into the air!

Oh, got to go and get ourselves ready for the afternoon's activity - a watch swap (among other adventures).

Do you think this group of plants are prolific enough? Wow! Even though we missed the peak of the flowering

Another couple have invaded the garden so we work our way back out to civilization...

Cheered on by the birds who resent intruders in "their" garden.

As we listened and looked, there seemed to be birds hiding almost everywhere.

Thanks for walking with us... and riding home in the car we began to discuss the need for a golf/street cart, but it might take hours to get home, and what about rain, or cold, or cars? Obviously we're old and the cart riders are youthful.

On our way, we passed the ultimate local transport -- a guy heading to the beach IN WET SUIT with surfboard on bicycle. BAREFOOT. Now that's tough!

Cheers,

Cazalea

PS - our Citroen Mehari "golf cart" which we drove for almost 30 years... it was open, convenient and street legal

even at highway speeds, as we drove it to San Francisco once.
