Our Tradition: Walking around on Christmas Day in the sunshine

The weather does not always cooperate — yesterday was foggy, damp, cold and miserable. It looked like Kurt’s day.

Today? Beautiful; but I should let y’all be the judge of that. Here we go on a 1 mile stroll.

Art Deco House

That’s real grass too, not artificial turf.

Looking down the street.

Bees hard at work, no time off for the holidays...

What? How do they grow like that?

Carrying the theme (stream) through

First Christmas llama we’ve seen this year!

Phoebe bird in a Plumeria bush

Between thorns

Citrus is everywhere in San Diego’s mature neighborhoods

Santa got a BnB here and is just coming out for a quick weather check before going back in for another nap.

This says Mexico to me.

A California visit wouldn’t be complete without a few vehicles. Like this International Scout (now part of VW????? as if they can afford it now)

Speaking of VW I still haven’t seen an ID Buzz, but these Westfalia campers seem quite common locally.

Jeeps are everywhere too.

Now for a relaxing glass and recline in the sun.

That’s all folks, get on the plane now and go home…

PS - the watch!
