I forgot just one thing this morning
I woke up a bit later than usual and rushed out the door with thermos of hot tea, my hat, coat, phone and keys. When I found a nice location with views to the East, I realized the Camera was still home on the table! Oops. The iPhone11 had to do the work today.

I believe the big houses in this neighborhood considered it an obligation to plant citrus trees in the front, flanking the entrance.

Nearly a century ago!

Yes, the one on the right is leaning a bit. It's quite a chore to get to the front door (maybe they go in through the garage). Our front door is 80 feet from the street so who am I to quibble?

I've liked this house -- it's at the end of the street and has a great view out over the city (but it blocks my view from the sidewalk).

By gently creeping down to the edge of a driveway I was able to get a nice perspective just as the sun came up.

The last of my Seiko Gold Tone Watches.

I bought it in 2005! First photo from Jan 2006

The sun is over the hills now, glowing like a gold watch!

I walked down the block a few hundred yards, and from that angle and movement of clouds it's a whole different picture.

Looking out towards the ocean I have yet a different feeling in the sky.

These are the houses around me, and the Western sky out over the ocean.

Looking down through the canyon I can see the distinctive yellow & red roof of a Der Wienerschnitzel hot dog drive-thru, though I think it may be called something else now.

A clean modern house. I like it.

Oranges and lemons and tangerines right up on the sidewalk!

I am carrying the back-up Gold Tone Pocket Memovox, and my "real" gold wedding ring (real diamonds not shown).
A flowering succulent spike bends over the sidewalk as I'm heading back to the car. I duck under it and watch the bees at work.

It's barely dawn and they are extracting all they can.

Busy as Bees.

A beautiful home here, with some California / Spanish / Mexican flavor

Skies keep changing.

An entirely different look; house is okay but I wish they would do something with their front yard.
That's all for today, thanks for coming along.
