Great to read another success story. Congratulations

I smoked tobacco for good 30 years. It started at college as couple of sticks and became a habit of more than 20 cigarettes a day.
One day in 2012 I stopped smoking as it started numbness in my legs. Yes, I was in real mess for few months. I'd take tea/coffee whenever the urge was getting out of control but didn't touch cigarette.
Now it's been around 8 years and I'm very happy that I quit smoking then. I feel a better person myself now.

I was a light smoker, 4-5 cigarettes a day, probably 10 on party days. I enjoyed smoking a lot, tasted soft and strong tobacco, cigarettes and cigars, with coffee, beer, liquor or alone, after food. It was good. One day I got a heavy cold and keep smoking...

You put your health first. True motivation for me, helps that you have a 1921 as a sidekick!!!!

Much appreciated

What helped a lot as well during the past 6 months is that we learned that we are going to be grand parents in about 6 weeks from now. Our daughter in law is pregnant and it will be our first grand child. No grandchild in the world wants to have a grand d...

Beautiful story...

This makes my day!!!! And you were able to integrate the beloved 1921 into it, true WIS literary art. Moreover, congrats on being grandparents, I am dealing with a stubborn 5-year old son, love him, but.... Let me know if you are adopting, JK, maybe. Ted

Haha

Thanks for your kind words but sorry I’m afraid adopting is unlikely (depends on benefits that come with it haha)

LOL

Unless you call being stubborn a benefit and a brat a benefit.

Thanks I agree [nt]

Fortunately we consume very little alcohol. If we go out for dinner some wine or a pint after golf that’s about it. More importantly we both are very strict in a golden rule: we absolutely NEVER drink and drive All this nonsense on how one or two drinks d...
