Gomenasai!

Sorry I couldn't make it at the last minute but Tohoku was so beautiful that it held up my return to Tokyo. Glad you enjoyed the bad-ass of culinary cooking at the gtg, can't wait to see what you guys have. I would've chosen the tasting menu over ala  carte!

Where did you have the Matsuzaka and Kobe beef? Have you tried Satou over at Kichioji? Its gotten pretty famous for providing prime beef at reasonable prices, not to say the least that there's always a long queue for their  popular beef balls croquette.

Japan is my favourite destination in Asia, been there at least once every year since 2000. Love the North for their onsens and great scenery while Osaka draws me for their food. The environs and atmosphere between Osaka and Tokyo is different when it comes to food, it just feels that way to me!

Hi Ming, Been to Asakusa a few times but don't recall those "ukiyo-e" characters. Japan sure has some outstanding displays. Sore jya, Bob

I love it, MW, thanks! Looks like a Coke slushy! Yum! I like that new AP Bumblebee. It's my second favorite ROO after the Volcano! Lava trumps bees -- but just barely! Missed you at the GTG too, but had TONS of fun with the whole gang. Glad you guys enjoy...

Tokyo, like Hong Kong, is a interesting city. It's somewhat difficult to find restaurants as even the cab drivers don't know where these places are! Luckily we had the concierge print up a map and handed to the driver but when you get out, it's a bit of a...

Hello Art! We stopped by the store Wako which had a extensive line of Credors and Grand Seikos. They had a GS high beat LE Wako with a green dial that was very interesting. Sorry we didn't take pics. -MW

Great post -my trips tend to be on the "alternative side"

I find all the weird stuff. This was last year. I love Japan. Great Seiko store in Terminal One at Narita. Fell in love with a $9M Grand Seiko there. Sadly, our love affair was short-lived by the nagging from my wallet. The Omega store, rocked, too....

I knew I should've gone...
