I bought three last week. Think I need to buy me a stash! Curious~ Do you eat the skin? Helen

peeled

We like to peel it before eating. But I know a few people that like the skin and eat it whole. I like watercolors comment about using persimmons for a smoothie, will have to try that soon. Regards, ED-209

Sometimes I eat the skin but

Then quickly regret it. I hate that funky after taste. Yes, a smoothy sounds great. Helen

I wash them, dig the green with a tea spoon, cut them in half or in quarters and dig the edible parts with same spoon....
