Long work week for me. Several uninterrupted hours in the MC room offers quite the respite. I sometimes have the screen on, but leave it muted. Turned on the Beast this morning so it was ready to work tonight. Impresses me every time. All the boys were ro...

That looks like a really nice room and set up (particularly the Bowers & Wilkins)

Although I’m not sure I could relax and listen to music with Vincent and Jules staring at me! All the best Jon

Ha ha, that was on the channel when I turned on the screen

A classic for sure. When I am in my 2 channel audio mode, I like to have a sports event on in the background, or I usually leave it off.

Thats Some serious music equipment my friend

Slightly different but classical music should be so great in that room? Did you put any special sound/acoustic material in ceiling or walls as well? Looks awesome. So your a watch lover who is a great photographer and likes music equipment speakers etc. I...

Thank you. I love the room, it is sort of my personal Sanctuary.

Decently sized for audio, and it sounds great. I designed and built my home a few years ago. Due to budget reasons, I had not intended to complete any basement area until later. But at the last minute, I opted to get this one space completed. The ceiling ...

Absolutely great

I only listened to the Satriani one last night, and I do love that album. I was otherwise using my streaming system to roll through individual songs from my CD collection. I might have some different speakers to report in the coming months. I auditioned s...

I have tried in vain to love them.

Yours are older if you have had them for 2 decades, and certainly more musical than the newer ones. I find the craftsmanship extraordinary, but the sound is very sterile compared to other high end speakers (again, this comment is regarding the d4 series, ...

I snapped 1 photo of them

As classic in shape as it gets - a boring box. But rather stout at 180 LBs each! All aluminum construction, another detail I don't recall encountering before. Despite the non-sexy shape, especially compared to so many other speakers these days, I still fi...

Nice ones, and great A/V system you have there.

If it was possible to wear out a CD, i would have done it with Surfing with the Alien. Such a terrific piece, and easy to listen over and over and over again.

Thanks Sir. I enthusiastically enjoy Joe S

And Surfing is a fantastic album. It has been years since I last saw Joe perform live, but I have seen him 3 times and loved the shows.

Would love to see him live.

Never got a chance, or wasn’t on my radar for some reason when he came to town.
