Cabo Verde just tied Spain?
What a game! Completely dominated by Spain, and yet Cabo Verde even had a chance at the end to not only tie but win. WOW. The Cup is off to a great start!

In this case, they were more than just an underdog. It is really an amazing result. One of my favorite parts of this match, not many whistles and game moved along very well.
Having the Cup in Mexico / Canada / US makes it easy for me to watch as many games as possible

Spain held the ball for far longer but they couldn’t “dominate” the Cabo Verde strategy. I’m at all happy with the coach. How is he going to assemble a national team with nine players from Barcelona?
And he should have prepared for Cabo Verde’s defensive strategy which was to be expected. Also, Cucurella carried the brunt of the game with no one in the middle to score. Sadly, it was a disastrous game. I was expecting much more from Spain. Now the team...
