MW you are absolutely correct.
the steps to get to the final result are numerous (and sweaty workout inducing).
IMHO for any polish 80%-90% of the time is the surface preparation and that is very important as the final result depends on it.
for Swissvax the website has a famous 'Swissvax Handbook' that can be downloaded showing the surface prep steps.
with regards to the result above in the picture, additional steps in the prep were done, the claybar was one done twice actually and 2 different claybars were used before application of the pre-cleaner fluid layer (then buff off)....then finally wax application.

Wow, 2 times with a clay bar? No wonder it was so beautifully shiny! I would have been amazed if it was a simple apply, set, and remove but this made more sense. Lots of work but the results of Swissvax seems worth the effort especially if you do concours...

Roads look fun and very well maintained. 1900KM gets me into a couple states (maybe) and return, but I can appreciate the tour of your country you had. had stick Pirellis on my Audi for the first couple sets, but they just wore too fast. Now have Yokahama...
