Wood you buy this

Today we look back at watches with Wooden Dials. Wood is good. It is natural, and has unique patterns, so technically every wooden dial is different.

Do you have a piece with elements of wood? What are your thoughts of these previous releases?

Let’s head into the woods…

I like wood. Especially beautiful wood boxes. I collect cigar humidors even though I don't smoke cigars. Over time, the wood fades into a greyish tone. For a watch, I can't say wood dials are high on my priority list. But for a man who has everything, sur...

My love goes of course for Patek’s wood marquetry, which only one man on Earth is currently authorized to create (J.B). The marvelous example from your selection is Ref. 5089G-019, while I was blessed with an allocation of Ref. 5089G-020 (both are from Pa...

Esp since you introduced me to the micro wood dials of Patek. Yes I remember the post where you told me about it. It is so intricate.
